Did anyone else think Gossip Girls was toooo chatty + complicated?

I personally didn't really like it... of course I've read ALL eleven books, and to me, the show was NOTHING like the 1st book AT ALL! So I dunno, maybe I just have really high expectations, but I'm not going to watch it again. It was stupid, and not exactly true! ♥
