Holding hands in a new relationship...?

i went on a date with a guy last weekend (we saw a movie and had dinner), and nothing exciting happened during, but after we were chatting on facebook, and he was like "i really wanted to hold your hand tonight, but i didnt want to be awkward and then the dang arm rest was in the way..." and i was soooo relieved because i really wanted to hold his too!! now we are bf and gf. together we decided we would hold hands from then on. and we do :) soooo... moral of the story is, just tell him! He will be relieved if he wants to too, (which he probably does, since hes the one who told you in the first place!) because then he didnt have to say it! and somebody's gota!
