Is This Mean?
The simple fact is that we treat strangers on the street better than we treat our own family. We cut in front of someone and say excuse me, we see someone struggling with grocery bags and we help them to their car, we actually use words like please and thank you. However, at home people tend to forget that common courtesy and respect are important. What you said was hurtful and even mean, but what he is doing is as well. You need to sit down and talk to each other. Remember to treat each other how you want to be treated in return. Don't fight hate with hate. Tell him that next time he is in a bad mood to cool off somewhere before he gets home. Let him know that you are willing to talk to him or give him his space, but that you do not want him to talk rudely to you.
