What is best granite color to pick for counter tops ?

We are re-modeling our kitchen, and we have picked out slate flooring and matching back splash. Our cabinets are going to be dark (espresso). I would like to have blue pearl granite counter tops, but don't know if that would look nice? any suggestions? ...
