Considering moving to Madison, Wisconsin from Texas. What are the pros of living in the Badger State?

I used to live in Wisconsin. Madison is nice, and the state is beautiful. The only reason I moved to Washington was because I missed the mountains. Other wise I would still be in Wisconsin.
