Hi, I just got over a very bad cold. Now my ears are 24 hours non stop plugged, and I have phlegm,?

Any advice on how to get rid of it and what is causing it. I also have alot of mice in my home, will call exterminator but in the mean time I found nests and tons of poop, would this cause wheezing and stuff?
