What do you think of the Lion Man?

I just want opinions on the Lion Man (Craig Busch) who runs a sanctuary in New Zealand breeding lions and tigers. He loves them dearly and has had a hard time the last few years with accusations and court cases. Isn't it sad that the person pionate about life gets the hardest time.
