What will happen if you carry a razor blade around in your pocket?

I was found to be carrying razors in my pocket when I was searched by the Police prior to being detained in hospital. But it was clear to them that the only person that I ever intended to use them on was myself, and so they just took them away. They asked me if I had any blades/knives on my, and I handed them over. So it wasn't a big deal. But if you are stopped, and they ask if you have anything sharp on you, tell them. They only get grouchy with you if there is a possibility that they could be hurt by your cutting equipment. The Police are not neanderthals, they are actually quite understanding these days!
