Can your hair getting in the way of your eyes make you blind?

Since my hair is covering my eyes, it kinda obscures my vision making it blurry (kinda like when you stare at something closely it goes blurry). Will that cause blindness? I mean when you wear gles that aren't meant for you, your vision goes blurry and if you keep wearing it, you will go blind in the long run, is it the same thing with objects directly in front of your eyes?
